Yoga Wellbeing​ Programme

Are you suffering from: 

​

  • Lack of sleep

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Stress

This therapeutic yoga programme may be for you. Part of a research project, with Bangor University and Dru Yoga, exploring the benefits of yoga for mental well-being, the course has been designed to support mental and emotional well-being.
 

Course Details:

  • Duration: 5 consecutive weekly sessions

  • Time: 1 hour per session

  • Cost: £40 per participant for the full course (reduced rate as part of a research project)

  • Format: Gentle, accessible yoga with modifications as needed

  • Breath-work and guided relaxation

  • 1:1 session before sign up

  • Suitability: No previous yoga experience required

  • Eligibility: Participants must be able to attend all sessions

  • Group Size: Small group of up to 10 participants 

  • Weekly 1-hour group sessions

  • Home practice (approx. 10-15 minutes per day)

  • Completion of a short health questionnaire and pre/post wellbeing surveys

Prerequisites / essential criteria:

  • Must be able to attend all 5 sessions

  • You must not have practiced yoga with me before, or very little - in other words not regular students of mine​.

  • Willing to do a short home practice each day - 10-15 minutes.

The course will run online, through Zoom, from 1 - 29 September. Anyone taking part will have a short in-person interview which I will be conducting from mid-August. We will go over medical history, suitability and full details of the course.

 

The course is aimed at people I've not taught before, (or very little), experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, sleep issues etc.

​

It is being offered at an incredibly reduced rate, only £40 (less than a 1:1 session) for the whole course, this is just to cover costs. It will be a small group of between 4-10 people.
